Now Crushing: Frank Ocean

If the Grammy's were any indication, Frank Ocean is here to stay. Winning a Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Album for "Channel Orange", as well as his collaboration with Jay-Z for "No Church In The Wild," Frank Ocean also had a few other nominations thrown in to the mix. But today it's not about the music, its the fashion, and the man behind it.

What first caught my attention (apart form his music) was the tailored Saint Laurent suit he wore for the Grammys. Albeit not being traditional, Ocean still managed to pull it off, looking comfortable but fit for the occasion.

Now, as he's graced the front rows of Paris Fall 2013 shows, Ocean has been tapped as the talent for the new campaign for Band of Outsiders, showing the world that the fashion industry loves him too. The images, which will be released via the brand's Instagram and Tumblr accounts sometime this week, were shot outside of the LA Times building.

Having worn a custom yellow suit made by the brand for his Grammy performance, it was only natural that Scott Sternberg, the brands creative director, would use Ocean as his model for the upcoming campaign. He's got a refined yet young look that fits with the brands image and it's nice to see new faces in the fashion world every now and then.

Cheers! The Aristochic
